We went to check out the brand new spaces at The Langham, including the new Sauce cookery school; now offering exclusive classes learning the trade secrets of some of the hotels finest chefs who train under the watchful eye of Michelin star Michel Roux Jr. A fabulous opportunity for VIP incentives!

The lucky team at Venue Search London were invited to the luxurious icon that is The Langham hotel to investigate their brand new spaces - a welcome addition to the venues in London scene - including the Conservatory and Sauce by The Langham; an interactive cookery class with some of London's top chefs.

The hotel itself boasts 380 immaculate bedrooms and suites with contemporary furnishings - think your dream home! The Infinity Suite is our favourite with 2540 sqft of space, access to the The Langham Club with complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and free-flowing champagne as well as an infinity bath to enjoy it all in. The Infinity Suite can be hired exclusively for intimate private dinners or drinks receptions subject to availability.

The Conservatory is one of the hotels newly unveiled spaces, with limitless natural daylight, bespoke furnishing and an in built 75 inch plasma television. Suitable for up to 30 guests in a boardroom layout, 42 in a theatre style or a drinks reception up to 50, the space is perfect for VIP board meetings.

Sauce by The Langham is the hotel's jewel in the crown; offering the unique opportunity to learning the trade secrets of some of London’s finest chefs.  We were supervised by two of Michel Roux Jr's executive team Millie Simpson and Quentin Plateaux who carefully and kindly guided us through creating a stunning two course dinner of Sea Bream with a Choron Sauce (think the best Béarnaise you've ever tasted) served with aromatic potatoes, salad fresh baked sourdough bread and of course a chilled glass of white wine; followed by hot Chocolate Fondant with salted caramel sauce and home made ice cream...heaven! The kitchen is beautiful enough but each course is then taken back to your own private dining room with a private waiter looking after your every need to devour with a paired wine. There was even plenty of fondant mix to take home and recreate in your own kitchen...if you don't finish it all on the train home.

Other classes include 'building block' options where you can learn the basics such as pastry perfection, knife skills, recreating British classics or even a master class with Michel Roux Jr himself!

Whether looking at venues in London for a private dinner for clients with a twist or an incentive for well deserving employees, you won't forget this experience in a hurry.

Last but by no means least, The Wigmore is a quintessentially British pub with with menu overseen, again, by the legendary Michel Roux Jr. Classic pub dishes have been elevated to another level along with wines, craft beer, cask ale's and "Hoptails" (beer based cocktails) brewed in partnership with local London suppliers.

While the space was formerly closed off to private functions and only available to the public and guests of the hotel, The Wigmore has opened up two separate, semi-private areas which are now available for private bookings while keeping the atmosphere and buzz created by a double sided open bar.

Up to 25 guests can enjoy semi-private hire of The Snug with in built TV, music system and natural daylight or for larger groups up to 40 guests standing, The Green Room comes with its own private bar service, in built TV and music system and creates an upmarket environment for those looking for something decidedly unstuffy.
