Top London Suppliers giving something back...

Here comes part two of our good news story, featuring some of our favourite suppliers who are spreading the joy during lockdown. From catering, to furniture and flowers, our suppliers have got it covered during the crisis.
Moving Venue & Smart Group
SMART Group’s very own catering arm Moving Venue, working together with Michelin star Chef Angela Hartnett, have launched Cook-19.
Completely volunteer led, Cook-19 will be providing healthy cooked meals to key workers within the NHS. Following lockdown, Moving Venue re-opened their kitchens located in Bermondsey which are to be used as the production base. Some of the Moving Venue Chefs are working alongside Angelas team to transform donated ingredients into food hampers and cooked meals, which are then delivered to those who need it most. These meals have been delivered to a variety of key workers, whether that be NHS staff who are currently in isolation or those working on the frontline to keep us all safe.

Yahire
One of our favourite event suppliers (and a regular at the London Summer Event Show and London Christmas Party Show) have joined forces with TV personality Vicky Pattison, Age UK, McVities, Heinz, Whitworths, Scoff & ED Pack Global to distribute care packages to vulnerable community members who are unable to leave their homes for their weekly shop.
Care packages include five nutritious meals so that everyone can enjoy a hot meal each day as well as many essentials we take for granted.

Jimmy Garcia
King of the Pop-up, Jimmy Garcia has turned his talents to help the vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis. With his #DonateADinner campaign, donations from the public of as little as £3 allow Jimmy and his team to create wholesome food to be distributed amongst the elderly and most in need.
Jimmy Garcia’s Catering is also creating isolation hampers, including ingredients for that roast dinner you’ve been missing or just some wine, cheese and charcuterie.

Hybrid Flowers
Another regular supporter of our shows, Hybrid Flowers create some of the most beautiful and inspiring floral displays you’ve ever seen with their seemingly endless creative drive!
Of course, with so many events being postponed to later in the year, there was the potential for all of these flowers to go to waste. However, Hybrid were sure to rescue every last bloom and distribute them to their local heroes, including schools, hospitals and key workers.
