London is awash with fun, quirky places to eat and drink, but when lumbered with that all-important task of arranging the next bar for a catch up with old friends, or that crucial first date venue, it seems like the most difficult task! So whether you’re with mates or on a date, here are some of Venue Search London’s favourite foodie venues and watering holes.
L’Anima Wine Cellar

This critically acclaimed Italian restaurant in the heart of the City is a foodie’s dream! But the real treat is the wine cellar at the back of the restaurant, which we absolutely love! Accommodating up to 6 guests, the wine cellar gives you a unique dining experience amongst hundreds of beautiful Italian wines.
WC Clapham
Clapham Common South Side, London, SW4 7AA
This cosy little wine bar underneath Clapham Common tube station was once a public toilet and has been beautifully restored to create WC, now referring to Wine and Charcuterie. The underground bar is lit with candles and has a Victorian feel about with old mosaic tiles and cute booth seating, ideal for a catch up with mates or that all important first date.
KERB Camden

If you’re a lover of street food then KERB Camden is the place for you. Showcasing London’s diverse street food scene with top vendors including Crabbieshack and The Mac Factory and serving great beer and delicious cocktails, KERB will also be providing entertainment and local DJs, creating the ultimate street party for you and your friends.
Luggage Room

Hidden away in the corner of Grosvenor Square, knock on the inconspicuous black door and wait for your booking to be checked (they don’t let any old riff-raff in here!). This lavish cocktail bar oozes style and takes you right back to the roaring 1920’s. The Luggage Room’s art deco style and intimate feel make it a perfect date place, and we haven’t even started on the extensive cocktail list yet! The Luggage Room is definitely one of our fave London drinking dens.
Bounce Old Street

What better way to break the ice than with a good old fashioned game of ping pong? Located next to Old Street station, the most recent Bounce venue has 17 bespoke ping pong tables, as well as an amazing pizza counter and cocktail bar. The venue has a really cool, urban feel about it with luxe décor and even UV lighting, a great place to socialise and play ping pong to your hearts desire!
