The 2018 London Summer Event Show The London Summer Event Show 2019

Venue Search London, the capital’s event specialist, is gearing up for the London Summer Event Show (22 - 23 January) by unveiling the key findings and buying trends of their 2019 London Summer Event Survey.

The full survey results will be revealed at Venue Search London’s seminar at the London Summer Event Show. For more information and to register for your complimentary ticket to the event, click here.

The results indicate a buoyant market for summer internal parties and events in the capital. The survey highlights a positive outlook for London’s summer events market with 31% of respondents anticipating an increase in budget per guest and 66% of companies planning to stage a 2019 event.

The research also found that 59% of events have budgets under £80+VAT per guest. Budgets per head have decreased in line with the more informal style , however demand is on the rise. Due to the reduced price structure of premium casual events, organisations are maximizing their budgets and hosting multiple events for staff in order to support their employee engagement strategies and retain talent.

Stand out venues are still the order of the day with destination restaurants or London landmarks being the locations of choice. This comes from guests’ desire for hotspots which provide the ultimate backdrop for social media as well as the need for brands to activate online.

Kimberleigh Lloyd, Sales Director at Venue Search London comments: ‘Our research shows a really positive outlook for London’s summer events market in 2019 and with such a varied range of fantastic venues, it’s no surprise. We’re looking forward to welcoming our colleagues from across the industry to the London Summer Event Show and showcasing the capital’s hot spots and new openings!’
