Our top five venues with outdoor space to enjoy this summer

It’s safe to say that we have all made the most of our outdoor space these past few months, from socially distanced picnics to garden BBQ’s.
Here at Venue Search London we have missed soaking up the atmosphere that our favourite venues bring, but now we can meet up outside!
It is positive to see some of our favourite restaurants, bars and hotels are preparing to welcome us back in the next couple of weeks and we all now know that outdoor event spaces offer better bio security for small gatherings which will be a great comfort to those wishing to meet up with colleagues in the permitted group size of up to six people.
With this in mind, Venue Search London are excited to share our top 5 venues offering outdoor space for you to enjoy this summer.
We have included a mix of styles, capacities and locations and look forward to offering advice and guidance for when it comes to booking your next party or informal meetings venue when permitted to do so.
The Rooftop at Trafalgar St James
The stunning hotel sits proudly on Trafalgar Square, therefore as you can imagine offers iconic views of the city’s skyline. The rooftop can accommodate up to 180 for a drinks reception and includes a retractable roof (the perfect answer for a wet weather option!).
Skylight is famous for its 360-degree views. The venue is transformed during summer with plenty of relaxed outdoor seating and its very own croquet lawn for team building. The rooftop offers a capacity up to 650 for exclusive hire and can also be hired for smaller groups too.
The sought after venue belongs to the global D&D group who look after some of the world's leading bars, restaurants and hotels. Overlooking the iconic dome of St Paul's Cathedral and other London landmarks. The venue includes 3 adjoining terraces as well as supporting one of Europe's largest open air roof terraces. The venue can be hired privately but also works successfully for smaller numbers who want to experience something a little bit special.
One of our favourite rooftops to watch the sunset, located on top of the beautiful Sea Containers hotel. The 12th Knot is one of London’s most fashionable bars to enjoy this summer. The 12th Knot can be hired exclusively offering a generous capacity of up to 300 guests (including hire off he terrace). There is a huge amount of flexibility withe the event space if you did require something smaller.
One of London’s most instagramble rooftop’s the venue offers expectational views across the City of London. We love the Wildside which works perfectly for a drink reception for up to 120 guests. The venue offers a unique and creative menu in terms of flavour and presentation, a great way to add some creativity to your event that guests will love.
