6 things to do in London this Autumn

Autumn is the season of new beginnings. As the leaves turn red, the days shorter and the nights longer it often leaves many of us reminiscing of warm summer days. Venue Search London want to share with you some of the amazing things and places to enjoy in London this Autumn. 

1. Social Distdancing

Members of the Royal Ballet are performing a series of short shows on the pontoon at canalside venue Hoxton Docks. If you’re spending your day at Columbia Road or Broadway Market take a stroll down Regents Canal to catch DistDancing performances on Saturday and Sunday until early October!


2. Skylight at Tobacco Dock

From the 8th October, Skylight’s summer terraces will be transformed into an Autumnal dream, with 18 igloo-bubbles placed across the two top levels, allowing groups of 6 to enjoy the City’s stunning views, cocktails and street food whilst keeping safe. 

The venue will also be hosting a special Halloween event on 31st October, guests will be invited to dress up and enjoy a full day and evening of spooky, Halloween entertainment. Skylight will take on a dark decor, with pumpkin themed igloos. Devilish cocktails and thrilling DJs. Guests will be able to secure bookings in advance, with table service and contactless payment throughout.


3. Richmond Park

Escape the City and explore the 2,500 acre area of Richmond Park. The park is home to over 600 deer and during the Autumn months the colours are truly stunning for that perfect instagram image.  Hop on your bike or take advantage of Parkcycle to make the most of the experience.


4. Dante’s in Furlough

The Vaults is back and it’s the entrance to hell! Their brand-new, socially -distant safe show is inspired by Shel Silverstein's epic poem “Billy Markham  and the Devil” Travel down in you bubble of 6,into the many circles of hell and navigate your way through the party of the millenium.


5. London Cocktail Week

This year London Cocktail Week has extended the event for the whole month of October. Hundreds of bars will be taking part with signature cocktails and immersive experiences, all whilst sticking to Government guidelines. A London Cocktail Week wristband gives you a full month of “something to do” safely!


6. Campfire cocktails at Midnight Apothecary

A botanical candlelit rooftop on the Grand Entrance Hall to Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe. For ultimate autumn evening, groups of six can now rent a mini fire pit and purchase a marshmallow toasting / smore kit and get cosy with their infamous hot toddies!
