The Library Batty Langley's The Tapestry Room Batty Langley's

With business meetings of up to 30 still permitted in London at Covid secure venues, hiring a boutique hotel exclusively for your team is not as expensive as you might think. From just £3,000 inc VAT per night, you could take exclusive hire of Hazlitt’s, The Rookery or Batty Langley’s.

With 29 – 33 bedrooms per property, these central London hotels are the perfect option for a company catch up or away day within a Covid secure environment – and a mini staycation to boot!

Hazlitt’s

Located in Soho, Hazlitt’s Hotel offers old fashioned hospitality, friendly, efficient service and a 5* feel wrapped in a 4* price point.

The careful restoration of this picturesque row of period buildings has created a haven of calm for small events, complemented by the highest levels of comfort and service.

The Wardrobe, is a panelled meeting room for gatherings of up to six people. State-of-the-art electronic facilities are hidden discreetly among antique furnishings and amenities include a retractable screen and projector and complimentary Wi-Fi access.

The Rookery

Tucked away in the City, a short distance from St Paul's Cathedral, the Bank of England and the Old Bailey, the only remaining early houses in Peter’s Lane have been repaired and extended to create this stunning boutique hotel.

Like its sister hotels, The Rookery boasts period charm, polished wood panelling, stone flagged floors, open fires and antique furniture providing the warm, homely atmosphere of a private members club.

The Drawing Room is a fabulous meeting place for gatherings of up to fourteen people along with The Library for a further six guests.

A 5ft presentation screen retracts behind cornicing and the room comes with complimentary wi-fi access and additional equipment is available on request. The Drawing Room is air-conditioned and enjoys abundant natural daylight with the option to close the Georgian shutters for a full presentation black out when required.

Batty Langley’s

In the heart of the East End, the hotel is nestled in Spitalfields, just a 3 minute walk from Old Spitalfields market. The curious name refers back to Batty Langley (1696 – 1751) who published handbooks designed to help inexperienced clients plan their Georgian houses and gardens “in the most Grand Taste”.

The Library has a picturesque Victorian lantern roof flooding the entrance with natural daylight, with the opposite end laid out as an intimate, fully fitted and well stocked library featuring a period stone working fireplace, polished oak shelving and an ornate room divider. The entire space is air conditioned, with complimentary Wi-Fi access, and is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs as well as an antique table seating six to eight.

The Parlour features a screen TV with media hub and Apple TV, complimentary WiFi access, built-in period china cupboard and sash windows with folding shutters that allow the room to be blacked out for photo shoots or small presentations.

The beautiful Tapestry Room is a larger and more imposing space hung with 17th century tapestries, The Folly and The Fountain, and features a large antique bookcase which doubles as an honesty bar. Glazed doors open onto an elegant private courtyard with a functioning period fountain. An antique table with seating for up to six overlooks the courtyard and the room is air conditioned and is complete with complimentary WiFi access.
