We are pleased to share with you the brand new Christmas designs for 8 Northumberland for Winter 2015. This season The Ballroom is going to be stepping back into the roaring twenties as it becomes ‘A Vintage Affair’ and the hidden gem of The Old Billiard Room and Annex is bringing the outside in as it becomes ‘A Winters Avenue’.
Within the beautiful ballroom step back in time as the 1920s are roaring again in the elegant, Charleston age-inspired Ballroom this Christmas.
From the moment you enter the room through a giant draped curtain you are transported to another time. It's all about dizzying decadence, gilded glamour and full-on fun, with this immaculately restored Victorian Ballroom as a backdrop.
Be a Bright Young Thing as champagne corks fly, cocktails are shaken and captivating music that matches your mood fills the air.
The sight and smell of the gourmet food matches the decadence of the room, as you sip from a vintage champagne glass and gaze across the room expect to see exceptional elegance with draped chandeliers, ostrich feathers and pearls galore. White flowers in full bloom highlighted against gilded decorations.
This glorious Gatsby theme suits the Ballroom down to the ground – it promises to be glorious!
The Old Billiard Room and Annex
They’re bringing the outside inside this winter in the Old Billiard Room and Annex with a Christmas Market feel.
Twinkling lights, snowy boughs and lashings of mulled wine make for an evening of rosy-cheeked charm and traditional festive fun - all in the bustling heart of London.
As you descend the festive staircase to the Christmas-market themed room below - drinks and desserts will be served from traditional Bavarian market stalls under festooned lights, and beautiful snowy scenes will transform the alcoves into little pockets of winter wonderland.
The sight and smell of the gourmet food matches the warmth and richness of the room, as you enjoy a drink from the winter lodge bar and gaze across the room expect to see candle lit tables, berries, fir-cones and plenty of Christmas cheer that can spill onto the dance floor!
