November marked our eight year company anniversary where we came together to celebrate at the iconic Swan Shakespeare's Globe located in Southwark. We held a private dinner event in the beautiful Balcony room located on the first floor of the Swan restaurant.
The Balcony room offers sensational views across the River Thames, views include some of the capital's most famous landmarks such as St Pauls Cathedral and the City of London's skyline including the Gherkin and Walkie Talkie building.
Starting the evening in style with a champagne drink reception before taking our seats at stunning dining table, the venue really pulled out all the stops. The table was dressed with fresh flowers and named place cards, including an individual gift for each member of the team to take home as a memento from the special evening.
We were treated to a delicious three-course meal with fresh ingredients brought in from local suppliers and, of course, Borough Market which is just a stone's throw away from the venue. The venue's team provided amazing service throughout which really added to the special experience of the event.
After dessert was served, we continued the celebrations and took to the dance-floor where we enjoyed our very own party playlist.
The restaurant is a part of the iconic Globe theatre which is home to an array of live events. The Underglobe is located underneath the famous theatre which can accommodate up to 450 guests for a standing drinks reception and 350 for a seated dinner party.
The venue has recently had a mini refurbishment just in time for the Christmas party season, which includes a new entrance for guests to enter from the main street level. They have also installed a state of the art digital mapping concept to the event space where you can choose your own graphics and add branding to the room - an innovative way to transform your next event!
