Before Halloween, there's Bierfest! Returning to London on 19th and 20th October 2023, each day over 1,500 revellers enjoy the quality hospitality and exhilarating atmosphere of this unique experience. Brought to you by SMART Group, London Bierfest brings traditional German acts to London, from Oompah bands and dancers to sensational aerial acts and roaming fire artists. Not forgetting your sensational host, Eva Von Schnippisch who will guide you through the show with her captivating voice and razor-sharp musical comedy!
Hearty and rich, the beloved dishes of Bavaria are ideal sustenance to accompany cold steins of beer. On the menu are mouth-watering German classics including not just one, but three different types of sausages…the famous Giant Bratwurst, the currywurst and delicious beef Frankfurters, with a selection of toppings so you can pimp your hot dog! Plus loaded potato skins, rustic chorizo beer sticks, pies, melt-in-the-mouth scotch eggs and so much more! Table service by our team of Helga’s and Helmut’s means no queues or waiting around, so attendees can fully engage with each other throughout the evening.
With entertainment ranging from Oompah bands, leading a series of Bavarian table dances and traditional Bavarian music sets, to a sensational beatbox trio; DUKE is composed of three voices and a guitar. Incorporating beatboxing and vocal bass lines to seamlessly blend songs, Duke provides a truly spectacular live performance. So spectacular, that Duke have shared a stage with both Prince and Amy Winehouse.
Even better, this year the event will be hosted by none other than Tom Skinner, best known for appearing as a candidate on The Apprentice. Known for his strong Cockney accent and “bosh” catchphrase! Tom Skinner is a name you won’t forget. Get ready to be captivated by the charm and charisma of this multi-talented sensation at the London Bierfest, oh and he’ll also be necking a whole lot of steins… BOSH!
This special event is hosted at Old Billingsgate Market; a London landmark located just minutes from London Bridge and Monument underground stations on the bank of the River Thames, and firmly part of London’s heritage. Formerly the home of the 19th Century’s largest fish market, this iconic, Victorian Grade II listed building has been transformed into one of the most sought-after event spaces in London, making it the perfect setting for a knees-up like London Bierfest!
Not forgetting the beer, ABK Beer, the official supplier for the event, is a 700-year-old, hand-crafted Bavarian beer brewed in Germany since 1308. It is synonymous with heritage and innovation - using techniques passed down from generation to generation to ensure the highest quality, with only the finest local barley, hops, yeast and the purest water used to create a truly authentic taste of Bavaria.
