If you are a merrymaker who is up for trying something a bit different. Read on…

1. Sparkling Apple Wine, Hush Heath Estate

Great news for the Prosecco lovers, there is now a drink closer to home that will satiate your thirst for the bubbly stuff, which has a uniquely English twist. Sparkling Apple wine by Hush Heath Estate is made from 100% juice from Cox, Bramlet and Egremont Russet apples and is made using the traditional Champagne method of production. The wine is white, crisp and clear, very expressive on the nose with ripe green and red apples, and citrus notes. The great thing about this wine is that it can be drunk all-year-around.

The last few years have witnessed a boom in the Scottish gin industry with 11 new gin distilleries opening in 2015 in Scotland alone. One of the coolest on the Scottish gin market is Rock Rose who use a mixture of local and traditional botanicals to give a little taste of Scotland in the final product.

3. Glenfiddich Winter Storm: 21-year-old Ice Wine Cask Single Malt

For their latest experiment whisky stalwarts Glenfiddich have been experimenting with French Oak icewine casks. They discovered that only the rarer whiskies, those aged 21 years or more could cope with the icewine intensity and that this brought out a uniquely fresh lychee note in the whisky. The result is a sweet, short, crisp whisky that offers sweet notes reminiscent of candied fruit and Turkish delight met with a rich drying sensation from the icewine and is the perfect for those with an event budget on the larger side to wow even the most knowledgeable whisky lover.

4. Seedlips - Spice 24

Seedlips is the world's first distilled non-alcohol spirit and is the perfect option to offer guests who do not drink alcohol. Served with tonic water it is a great alternative to gin and their spice 24 is a great choice for a winter event, containing botanicals such all Spice, Cardamom and Oak. With no artificial flavours and no calories it will be the talk of the party among the tee-totalers.
