Say Hello to the New Ivy

Thursday 16 November 2017

The Ivy Collection - The Granary Brasserie Private Dining Room at The Granary Brasserie

That's right, there is a new addition to the Ivy Collection. Combining British glamour and an American style diner and boasting a resident DJ, we couldn't wait to find out all the juicy details...

This December, we say hello to a new addition to The Ivy Collection. Steeped in prestige and having been at the heart of London's social scene since 1971, The Ivy, without a doubt, proves that some styles never go out of fashion.

The new branch is to be named 'The Granary Brasserie' and will be opening its doors to us just in time for Christmas. You will find the Brasserie in King's Cross, stepping seamlessly into where the Grain Store left off.

Although, this space will not be for the faint hearted, with the capacity to host 250 guests across the bar area, lounge and main restaurant. But we feel the most important question is, what will we eat?

The word on the street is the menu will have nods to health (how trendy) with smoothies and granola, a respect to our British hearty comfort food, topped off with a quiet appreciation to our American friends across the Atlantic. A medley of flavours and something for everyone!

But let's get down to the final, but crucial part: the resident DJ.

Yes, a resident DJ in a brasserie. The normal rules do not apply here, as the DJ will play every night. As far as we know, this is the first of its kind, and offers a new perspective on brasserie dining. A refreshing and bold decision, which is enough to tantalise our tastebuds!

If you are a true Brit, we know its a right of passage to sit outside even when it's about 7 degrees too cold, but with the Granary Brasserie you can do this with ease! With a huge 73 cover outdoor area, this place seems to have it all.
