 Afternoon Tea Vintage Afternoon Tea

Looking for a little treat? Well March seems like the perfect time to indulge yourself and others in one of London's best venues for Afternoon Tea.

Do you need to embrace spring with both arms in order to forget the strange snow start to March? With afternoon tea being traditional British scoffing’s holiest of holies its no wonder London venues are really stepping up their game in order to provide us with some sensational tea and cakes. It’s the ultimate indulgence, and it doesn’t get much better than the way it’s served in London's Hotels, restaurants and cafes

To find you the very best afternoon tea in town, we have hand picked the best of the best and even sipped a few teas on the way!

Fortnum’s afternoon tea at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon at Fortnum & Mason

We would expect nothing less from Fortnum & Mason’s pastel-painted Diamond Jubilee Salon. Staff consistently go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. Although you can ask for a tea with extra ‘savouries’ like Welsh rarebit, the standard one will be more than sufficient for most (especially if you take them up on the offer of refills). You could fill yourself up on the extremely buttery scones but don't forget to leave room for the bsttenburg cake, you don't want to leave without trying some!

Afternoon tea at The Promenade and the Spatisserie, The Dorchester

Afternoon tea at The Dorchester is a dark horse. A total opposite in interiors and ambience with heavy drapes, plush carpets and marble columns. Whilst the pianist tinkles in the background, you are swept off your feet by staff in tailcoats and surrounded by other sick minded Londoners who have also had the great idea of afternoon tea at the Dorchester. If the scones aren't enough, they offer unlimited finger sandwiches which are simply Devine.

With many more to choose from why wait? Book yourself and your loved ones some quality time together whilst overindulging on typically British cuisine at these stunning locations.
