You may have already seen it in multiple movies but this week the team on Venue Search London were lucky enough to be invited to the exclusive Stoke Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club...all in the name of research of course!
This week, the team at Venue Search London were getting out of town and invited down to see the gorgeous 5 red AA star Stoke Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Buckinghamshire. Surprisingly, the venue is located just a 20 minute train journey from London's Marylebone Station (straight into Gerrard's Cross) followed by a short 8 minute taxi ride which meant we were checking in to the luxurious surroundings in no time!
We checked in to the stylish and contemporary Pavilion, located next to the Mansion House, and with direct access into the endless spa and fitness facilities, including; a state of the art gymnasium, two fitness studios, three indoor carpet, four floodlit artificial clay and six grass tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, a spa and their San Marco Restaurant. In 2002, 28 luxurious art adorned bedrooms were opened and this was home to the VSL team for the night (don't mind if I do!).
Not a team to leave an venue unexplored, we then investigated some of the Mansion House's 21 traditional bedrooms, sampled Champagne in the President's Bar and dined on the delectable menu from Humphrey's Fine Dining Restaurant (definitely needed to check out those gym facilities after that one!).
The Mansion House at Stoke Park is home to 9 elegant event spaces, ranging from The Fountain Room (suitable for up to 160 guests standing, 146 on banquet rounds or 40 cabaret style) down to The Wyatt or Polo Lounge for just 16 boardroom. Overlooking acres of lush gardens, fountains and a 27 Hole Championship golf course, Stoke Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club is an ideal location for away days and team building for corporates looking to get out of London without the inconvenience of a long journey...and we can highly recommend it!
