Wednesday 28 July 2021

port lympne Garden Room Port Lympne

Last week we were incredibly lucky to be invited to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve which is Kent's largest wild animal park, covering an impressive 600 acres!  Port Lympne is home to some incredible animal and the county's only safari experience.

This country estate is also an award winning venue, offering a unique location for a corporate company off-site, incentive or meeting and conference. Surrounded by some of the world's most endangered animals, stunning landscaped gardens and jaw-dropping views this one-stop-shop has everything you need to motivate, inspire and reward your teams.

Upon arrival we were treated to a delicious lunch in their stunning restaurant, The Garden Room (originally the mansion's stable yard). The Garden Room is located next to Port Lympne Hotel and at the centre of the reserve, the space can be hired privately for meetings, events and private dining. We were then taken on a unique "behind the scenes" safari which gave us the opportunity to get up close and personal to various endangered species and where we learnt more about the conservation efforts pout in place here at Port Lympne. Our ranger guided us on safari across the Kent Savannah, before a behind the scenes tour of some of their cats!

The unique venue has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to hold meetings, conference, exhibitions, product launches or team building activities and there is plenty of accommodation options ranging from rustic to luxury. Two of the main meeting spaces within Port Lympne Hotel are the Spencer Roberts Room and Martin Jordan Room which can host around 40 guests for dinner and up 50 for a standing reception both spaces have been beautifully decorated with hand painted murals of animal and are perfect for smaller meetings and private dinners. There is also the Long Room within the hotel which has direct access to the Southern Terrace which has breathtaking views over the rolling hills of Kent.

The private lodges have floor to ceiling windows offering a once in a lifetime experience of waking up to these incredible animals from your bed, or even your private outdoor bathtub! It echoes a sense of adventure throughout, with a premium edge which together provides an unforgettable and inspiring experience.

If you can't get your teams overseas this year but still want a unique and memorable experience please get in touch with us to discuss what Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve could offer your event.
