Last week, Georgia and Amelia were welcomed by Down Hall Country Hotel & Spa for their Agent Wellness Retreat and overnight stay. With its rich history dating back to 1322, Down Hall Hotel seamlessly combines traditional charm with contemporary facilities.

The venue boasts a range of event spaces, including well-appointed meeting rooms, spacious function suites, and beautifully landscaped gardens.  The retreat offered a wonderful glimpse into the experiences Down Hall has to offer.

After arrival, the day kicked off with a tour of the venue’s stunning event spaces, followed by a colour therapy and breathwork session in their elegant ballroom. It was both Georgia and Amelia’s first experience with this type of session, and they were completely captivated by Camilla, the founder of Glowments UK and Down Hall’s resident wellness expert. Camilla, who also collaborates with Nobu, shared valuable tips that participants could apply in their daily lives. The session was not only a fantastic opportunity for team bonding but also a chance for personal growth, making it the perfect activity for a team away day!

Following the breathwork session, guests were invited to enjoy a delightful alfresco dining experience in the newly launched Kitchen Gardens at Down Hall. Set within 110 acres of picturesque woodland, this unique event space embodies true ‘plot to plate’ catering.

The Kitchen Gardens is Down Hall’s latest concept, where the gardening team collaborates closely with Executive Chef Robert Pearce to plan each year’s harvest. This partnership ensures that only the freshest, seasonal ingredients are used in every dish.

The dining experience began with a moreish selection of canapés, followed by a relaxed, family-style meal designed to encourage conversation and connection. Guests were treated to a variety of vibrant dishes, all made using produce grown just steps away in the garden.

After indulging in the delicious feast, guests were invited to unwind with a soothing sound bath led by Camilla—an ideal way to conclude a day dedicated to relaxation and indulgence. The experience left everyone perfectly primed for a restful night in their luxurious accommodations.
