What’s New in London’s Corporate Venue Market? The Autumn/Winter 2026 Insider Edit
Monday 5 October 2026
If your end-of-year event brief calls for somewhere guests haven’t visited several times already, this is a good moment to take another look at London’s venue market. Our team keeps a close eye on these changes through venue visits and conversations with the people behind the spaces.
New restaurants and bars are adding options for Christmas celebrations, while revived favourites and flexible event spaces offer fresh ways to bring colleagues and clients together.
Here are the openings and updates on our radar for autumn and winter 2026, and the corporate occasions we think they could suit best.
A familiar name returns in St James’s
Few London restaurants have the recognition of Quaglino’s. Following a major refurbishment, the St James’s institution is due to reopen in October, bringing its grand dining room, bar and stage back into the frame for Christmas party and festive events.
For planners, its appeal is the chance to give guests a recognisable London address that still feels newly discovered. Private dining could work for a senior team or client dinner, while exclusive hire accommodates up to 250 seated or 500 standing. It is one to consider if live entertainment and a strong sense of occasion are central to the brief.

Mayfair offers two different kinds of hospitality
For a more intimate event, The Shepherd Mayfair is a new arrival in Shepherd Market. Its restaurant, Fayre, pairs seasonal British dining with bespoke artwork by Adam Ellis inspired by Mayfair’s history, while Teddy’s cocktail bar offers a different setting for drinks. Together, they give a smaller leadership dinner or end-of-year client gathering a setting with a story of its own. As with any new hotel, the right space and hire arrangements will depend on the guest list and format.

The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences is an established Mayfair address with refurbished meeting and event spaces. The hotel underwent a major multi-million-pound architectural and interior refurbishment designed by Kinnersley Kent Design, followed by subsequent multi-floor bedroom and penthouse updates led by designer Martin HulbertIt, and offers a useful choice when a brief moves between business and hospitality: perhaps a leadership meeting followed by private dining, or a press launch with a drinks reception. Its smaller suites suit intimate groups, while larger spaces can accommodate around 100 guests, depending on the layout.

Olympia’s new dining scene changes the post-event conversation
The developing hospitality offer at Olympia gives organisers more to explore when an exhibition, conference or launch needs a social finish. Incipio Group’s venues include Lillie’s, a rooftop wine bar and restaurant for up to 250 guests, built around British small plates and English sparkling wine; Wolves of Tokyo, a Japanese restaurant and rooftop bar with a capacity of 200; and Juno, a grand Italian restaurant with space for up to 700.
The choice matters as much as the newness. A client reception, a lively team celebration and a seated dinner after a conference each need a different atmosphere. With several distinct spaces in one part of West London, Olympia is worth revisiting even if you think you already know the area. For events tied to a conference or exhibition, we would check the proposed layout, timings and how easily people can move from the main event to the evening venue.

More ways to continue the conversation
In the City, Club 88 at TOGETHER adds a more private option above the meeting and conference spaces at 88 Wood Street. Its twelfth-floor lounge, terrace and adaptable rooms can host groups of 10 to 100 for private dining, drinks or client events. It is especially useful to explore when a daytime conference needs a smaller evening reception, or when a leadership group wants its own space.
At art’otel London Hoxton, the brand new Floor 2 offers a flexible, industrial-style space for a larger corporate event. With floor-to-ceiling glazing and 520 square metres to work with, it can accommodate up to 350 guests for a standing reception or 250 for dining. That makes it worth considering for a product launch, brand event or end-of-year gathering that needs room for guests to circulate. Its Shoreditch location, close to Old Street station, also makes arrival straightforward for guests travelling across London.
And in Bloomsbury, the reopened Imperial Hotel has introduced Arcus Rooftop Bar & Restaurant with seating capacity for 300. Its tenth-floor position brings London views to a neighbourhood that hasn’t always been the first place planners look for a rooftop reception. There is also a private dining space within Arcus, making it worth considering for a smaller client occasion as well as drinks above the city.

What should you look for this winter?
The strongest venue choice starts with the event you want guests to have. Is this a full-scale Christmas party, a relaxed thank-you to clients, or an opportunity for delegates to connect after a conference? Would your group respond better to a seated dinner, a standing reception or a space that can do both?
