12th Knot at Sea Containers London
Situated at the top of the trendy Sea Containers London hotel on the vibrant South Bank, a stone’s throw from the City of London, the hotel is less than a 2-minute walk from Blackfriars Thameslink and Underground stations. The 12th Knot is a stylish and trendy venue with stunning panoramic views of London. You can hire the popular bar as a fun and contemporary venue located on level 12 of the hotel. Westminster Boating Base
Westminster Boating Base is a fantastic south west London venue, located in Pimlico. All of the event spaces have floor to ceiling glass windows, allowing for plenty of natural light and a dazzling view of the river. The rooms have riverfront balconies as well as its very own jetty for boat access. The venue has even been used as the setting for a number of movies including Love Actually. As a charity, the venue hire fee goes directly to support the trust’s charitable activities for young people.
Balcony Room at the Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe
Located at the historic Shakespeare’s Globe, the Swan is a beautiful bar and restaurant set over two floors with stunning views of the Thames and St Paul’s. The Balcony room is located on the top floor of the venue, and is a bright and airy, versatile event space which comes with its own private balcony, accessible through large French windows which allows guests to appreciate the panoramic views of London.
Bateaux
An unusual venue option for Christmas is the Bateaux London boats which offer the opportunity to sail down the river itself, past the extraordinary landmarks of London while enjoying delicious food and drink prepared by the onboard team. Each of the three river boats have 360-degree panoramic design, and the River Room, which is specifically used for private events, has the longest open deck on the River Thames.
OXO2
Just a short walk from Waterloo and located below the infamous OXO Tower with unrivalled views of the river, guests will enjoy watching the sun set from double aspect floor-to-ceiling windows or from the outdoor terrace. Over the Christmas period, the venue is taken over by Ultimate Experience, an event management company which specialises in high impact events. They bring in full theming and completely transform the space into an immersive winter wonderland. Each year they have a different theme for the venue, which is yet to be revealed for 2020. Previous themes include the Arctic Circle with the colourful colour of the Northern Lights and an Après Ski Chalet with ski’s, a fire place and cosy furnishings.
