An Indian Summer for Staff Parties?

With the amazing current vaccination rates, we can be confident that the majority of us will be safe to mix and mingle by the end of the summer, so September will be a busy month for all those postponed celebrations. We predict a busy season of live events following a long awaited summer holiday!
Whilst many of our clients have and will continue to use our online virtual platforms to deliver engaging and memorable virtual events, we all know that the most successful internal events are delivered in a live environment, with a drink in hand and a packed dance floor to end the evening.
There is no doubt that some conferences, meetings and company get-togethers will take place over the earlier summer months, but it will not be until September when the full party atmosphere can be delivered free from social distancing restrictions.
The recent news that the RHS have moved the Chelsea Flower Show to September is further proof of the hardening of opinion around this month as the safe option for larger events.
Many of our clients are now looking to stage their summer celebrations after the holiday season and several of the traditional pop-up venues are moving their dates to accommodate this demand.
One of our firm favourites, The Pavilion at The Tower of London have combined their summer and winter seasons into a four month occupancy for their unique temporary structure in the iconic venue’s moat, with a stunning outdoor garden area for pre-lunch or dinner receptions.
This large London venue can seat up to 700 for a formal meal, 1,000 for a theatre-style conference and 1,200 for more informal events and celebrations.

Located on the top of the DoubleTree by Hilton on Tower Hill and just a short walk from The Tower of London, Savage Garden combines decadent decor, jaw-dropping views, tantalising cocktails and incredible menus.
The central London venue offers flexible event spaces depending on your event size. Each space includes exceptional views on the City, whether you are a party of 120 or up to 300 guests. The venue team specialise in creating amazing summer parties, complete with theatrical food and unmissable entertainment.
The rooftop venue offers incredible views of London’s skyline, so you are able to treat your guests to 360-degree views of world-famous landmarks, including The Shard, Tower of London, The Gherkin and St Paul’s Cathedral.
The iconic East London venue is the perfect setting for a summer party, only 15 minutes from the City of London.
The warehouse style rooftop is famous for its 350-degree views of London’s sky. During the summer the venue is transformed into a relaxed party atmosphere with plenty of covered seating if the weather isn’t quite what we had hoped for.
They even have garden games such as croquet and petanque for guests to enjoy. The venue has partnered with some of London’s leading street food traders to offer vibrant and delicious menus.
The space can be hired exclusively for up to 600 guests and smaller areas are also available to hire for more intimate events.
Pergola - Paddington Central and Olympia London
Paddington’s favourite rooftop is the ultimate Instagram backdrop. The London venue offers a fun dining experience, accommodating up to 850 seated and standing guests across 2 floors with 3 bars and 4 street food traders.
It is the perfect summer party venue with its hidden, alfresco garden concept perfect for drinking and dining in the heart of London.
It’s sister venue located in Olympia, has a slightly smaller capacity of up to 500 guests yet with the same hidden garden concept. Both locations are easy to get to so journeys to and from the venue should be stress free as possible.
