The first meeting of the new year is an important one, it’s a great opportunity to close the previous year, acknowledge what went well and possibly more crucially what didn’t. It's a time to pump up enthusiasm, build up the team and renew momentum in the midst of January blues...

So picking a great venue that inspires is a pretty good place to start. We’ve done the work for you and picked five kick-off meeting spaces we think would work perfectly.

MTHR London is a beautiful new venue, located on the 20th floor of the Collective building in Canary Wharf and just a 10 minutes’ walk away from Canary Wharf station, on Crossharbour bay which has STUNNING views of the London skyline.
MTHR is an incredibly versatile space, perfect for large and small-scale events with eight spaces with seating from 100 to 20 delegates. One of our favourite spaces in The Study with cosy sofas, a workplace table and a feature fireplace, The Study is a stylish yet homely spot. Intrigue your guests with the “secret” library filled with comfy armchairs, books and curiosities. The split nature of this space makes it perfect for events that require a breakout area; such as meetings, training and workshops.

Situated in the heart of Mayfair, AllBright is a members club located within a majestic townhouse, just a short walk away from Oxford Circus station. Spread across five floors and leading up to a secluded roof terrace, the spaces here create a unique environment to network, unwind and dine and can be hired by members and non-members to connect, create and collaborate.
The first floor restaurant can be exclusively hired for a maximum of 50 guests theatre style. A tonal colour scheme of blues and greens and large feature Georgian it’s a perfect space for a presentation. This floor also holds two, light, bright meeting rooms which can be combined into one larger space for 27 across both rooms. Acting as a co-working environment by day, the third floor is available for exclusive hire accommodating up to 30 guests making it the perfect location for presentations, panel discussions and workshops too. 

Launched in September 2021, Canopy by Hilton City, is located within a buzzy City neighbourhood and business hub, within a mile of Tower Bridge and Spitalfields Market. The hotel offers 340 rooms, including 35 stunning Canopy Suites.
We love Dustan's Den which is their beautifully designed cool and contemporary meeting space which has taken influence from the hidden pockets of green space in East London. Adaptable multi-use space for all day hires and flooded with natural light it works perfectly for presentations and boardroom meetings for up to 50 guests. High speed internet and the latest meeting technology equipment are available. It also comes with to a relaxing break out area with bean-to-cup coffee machine and filtered water available throughout the day along with event managers on site.

With four locations across London, Wallacespace are a blank canvas for meeting, learning and events. Inspiring, energising, their central London spaces are for you to use as creatively as you like. All their venues are carefully designed to help keep people focused and engaged. All their rooms (with seating from 6 up to 200 delegates) can be furnished in the way that best suits your needs, from desks and chairs to softer more collaborative furnishings for brainstorms or workshops. Beautiful views of the city, a rooftop terrace and three elegant and versatile event spaces, The View launched in September and is located on the sixth floor of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons which is within easy walking distance of Holborn station.
The conference suite and rooms on the top floor of The View make up one large space, with capacity to hold up to 300 people theatre style, 180 cabaret or 63 boardroom style.The Park View space looks out onto the historic Lincoln Inn Fields, and wider London beyond. The room is equipped with a wide screen and podium, accompanied with repeater screens along the walls. Searcy’s are the onsite caterer here who’s food and service is really good!
