We love a new venue opening and there’s going to be an exciting new 5* addition to Blue Orchid Hotels in central London. Located in the heart of the West End, this large London hotel is going to be an opening not to miss.
Venue Search London are always on the hunt for good news, especially in this ever changing situation we find ourselves in. We are delighted to learn that Blue Orchid Hotels have been given the green light to transform the former Transport for London HQ into a luxury 5* hotel.
Part of the Integrity International group, Blue Orchid will be transforming this Grade-I listed beauty to breathe new life into a historical treasure whilst preserving and restoring its rich heritage.
Located on 55 Broadway, above St James’s Park station, the building was created in 1929 in the classic art-deco style of the era and will boast a generous 526 bedrooms, forming one of the largest hotels in the area.
Blue Orchid currently includes Tower Suites, The Rochester and The Wellington within London, with the new hotel set to be the brands’ flagship in London. While event space capacities are still to be determined and restoration will take some time, this is an exciting new opening for London that we cannot wait to see.
