As we start to feel optimistic for the return of our much loved hospitality industry, Venue Search London discuss the innovative concepts and ideas to bring us back together this summer

From Pop up's to alfresco dining and bringing the experience home we look forward to welcoming you back!

Igloo Pop ups

We have enjoyed the creative ways in which our favourite bars and restaurants plan on reopening their businesses.

In particular we love the outdoor igloo dining concept.  Venue Search London anticipate this will be a huge trend for Christmas bookings this year.

One of our favourite Pop ups comes from the very talented Jimmy Garcia ‘Jimmy’s Lodge’ located along South Bank.

Which is the place to be for expectational catering, atmosphere and riverside views.

Each pod can accommodate up to six guests so perfect for smaller numbers this December.

Hampers at home

We love how some of our favourite venues have been keeping us engaged and entertained these past few months with their creative 'at home experiences'.

Add a touch of luxury for a special occasion with The Dorchester's at Home series.

We love their afternoon tea hampers which can be delivered straight to your door.  The hamper includes all our favourites from fresh sandwiches to decadent cakes.

Or if you are feeling particularly adventurous why not try the 'MIY' Make It Yourself experience from the hotel's famous Grill at The Dorchester.

The Grill's head chef Tom Booton and team have prepared all the ingredients you need to create some of their most signature dishes at home (The VSL team's favourite is the 'Double Decker' desert).

If you have been missing Happy Hour during lockdown then the friendly team at Dirty Martini have the answer!  Delivering their 'Dirty Martini at Home' experiences nationwide.

Dirty Martini are renowned for their interactive cocktail masterclasses now you can impress friends and family at home with their affordable drink packages.

London’s new open-air party zone

London's West End is set to be transformed into a 'continental-style' outdoor dining district this summer as a way to support our much loved pubs, restaurants and bars.  This is expected early July as a way to support the hospitality industry reopening.

The popular areas will include Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair and Marylebone which will include temporary road closures.

Pedestrianising the roads will offer more space for venues to provide tables and chairs therefore offering more space for customers.
