Good News... The Government Supports the Hospitality Industry

Following the chancellor's recent announcement, we're all going to be eligible for dining vouchers (worth up to 50% off the cost of a meal). In addition to the update on dining out, tax will also go down due to VAT being reduced to 5%. Good news all around for a post lockdown treat!
The restaurant voucher scheme lead by Rishi Sunak will provide everyone in the UK with an 'eat out to help out' discount as a way to boost the hospitality industry. The new scheme will offer 50% off meals on Mondays to Wednesdays throughout August (to a maximum of £10 per person). Whilst the news is very exciting, Venue Search London discuss our favourite restaurants which we cannot wait to book this August.
Seabird at the Hoxton Southwark
The recently opened rooftop restaurant offers exceptional views and one of London's longest oyster list. The seafood focused restaurant has already received outstanding reviews for atmosphere, service and quality. Seabird can be hired exclusively on off-peak dates so we love recommending the rooftop for summer parties and drink receptions.
My Neighbours the Dumplings
My Neighbours the Dumplings is a family run Chinese dumpling house and Sake bar, now with two sites in Lower Clapton and Victoria Park Village, Hackney. The restaurants specialise in delicious handmade dumplings, rolled fresh everyday by the expert Dumpling Team. For larger groups we recommend the lovely private dining room in their Clapton location.
Ivy Chelsea Garden
Located on Kings Road in Chelsea, the venue is perfect for summer al fresco dining on the beautiful terrace. You can enjoy a fresh mix of modern British comfort food and international dishes. Sit back and relax with a refreshing cocktail, our favourite is the Espresso Martini with salted caramel. The Eden room is available for private hire and comfortably holds 30 seated for a private dinner.
Bagatelle London
Bagatelle have a reputation for their party destinations from New York to Dubai and we can't wait to revisit their Mayfair venue located on Dover Street. The brand is famous for creating electric party experiences alongside expectational fine dining. We love their French Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by a fantastic wine and champagne list. The beautiful restaurant can also accommodate private dining for numbers up to 60 seated which would work perfectly for a Christmas party.
Bob Bob Ricard
Located in the heart of Soho, this iconic restaurant serves luxury English and Russian dishes. It is well known for its "Press for Champagne" button at every table, making it an instagram favourite! We love the classic steak tartare and of course being able to enjoy the wide range of Champagne at the press of a button.
