Common Decency Room The NoMad Restaurant

The NoMad Hotel is an exclusive and luxurious hotel located in Covent Garden, a Grade II listed building which was originally Bow Street’s Magistrates Court and Police Station. It has since been converted into a stylish boutique hotel, with private event, dining, conferences and meeting space.

The former Magistrates’ Court at The NoMad is now the Magistrates’ Ballroom, as well as two private dining rooms with a separate bar area and a private entrance from the main street for guests who are exclusive to the party. Just off the Magistrates’ Ballroom there is a private dining area, the De Veil Room, which is a reception area for guests to convene for social or business events, before heading into the main event in the Ballroom.

Just off the other side of the Magistrates Ballroom, the Fielding Room is another space for a private seated dinner of 24 or standing reception of 30 (if needed for extra capacity), with a traditional historical interior.

On the lower ground floor you'll find an intimate lounge known as the Common Decency, which is a cocktail bar and relaxed seating area with five private booths available for entertainment, dancing and surprises take place. This area is ideal for a celebratory party or evening reception.

Additionally, you have Side Hustle, which exudes the classic British Pub feel, with booth seating hosting up to 60 guests for a reception and showcasing a classy interior, perfect for a more casual social event.

The whole hotel venue has a cultural and historical connection with New York with the interior design inspired by the history of Covent Garden, giving a 19th century inspired feel, with a modern day twist!

This hotel features several accommodation suites which are available to event guests if they are looking for an overnight stay after their event. One of the main suites being The Royal Opera Suite with privileged views of the Royal Opera House, a separate living area, writing desk and a 2 bedroom option, featuring a royal pink interior finish to give an elegant, timeless look as well as a flawless freestanding gold bathtub for some luxurious relaxation time.

The NoMad restaurant is designed as an open glass conservatory, allowing natural light to flood through during the day creating a warm and welcoming feel to the hotel. The space can also be transformed into a more intimate setting in the evening for exclusive hire (on a case by case basis).
