Cutty Sark, the most versatile and distinctive of the Royal Museums Greenwich venue portfolio, is an iconic, unique and luxury event venue for a range of event sizes, from dinners for 10, wedding ceremonies for 60, conferences and award ceremonies for up to 300 people, gala dinners for up to 250 people and brand activations and client networking for up to 400 people.
Built in 1869 as a tea clipper, she has travelled the world, survived the high seas and now boasts a spectacular riverside setting with sweeping views across the Thames and to the City beyond for event guests to enjoy.
The Ship Decks: The Lower Hold, ‘Tween Deck, and Weather Deck - Your guests can explore the ship on arrival. You may choose to organise a drinks reception on the main deck overlooking the Thames and enjoy the views for up to 130 guests. The Dry Berth – The main event space, where your guests can dine and dance. There’s plenty of room for a stage and dance floor as well as the dinner setup - all beneath the copper-clad hull of Cutty Sark, suspended dramatically overhead. Suitable for up to 240 for dinner or 400 for a standing reception dependant on other set up requirements.
