It's from from icy depths that this tale starts. There once was a snow covered house in the farthest fields that was always rumoured to hold magic. The grass was always green no matter how much snow fell. Nobody in the town could explain why? They say it’s because the rushes catch the sun’s magic and blow through the fields. It means the darkest powers in the snow can never rest.

But from we are not scared to venture near. Where magic dwells we know the Christmas spirit dances! The rushes whisper jollity in their moves, the mossy floor springs with cheer and the walls ooze ‘party’.

Life is not all mystery. Black can be black and white can most certainly be white. Our Christmas tales are no different. They include just the measure of sparkling magic needed. These are privileged nights that simply can’t last forever.
