Regent Street Cinema is the birthplace of British Cinema. The cinema was the first in the UK to show a film to public audiences in 1896.

Following an extensive fundraiser campaign the cinema was refurbished to its former glory and opened the doors to public audiences in May 2015 for the first time in 35 years.

The cinema exhibits a wide range of films with independent premieres, film festivals, Q&As, live theatre and specialises in double bills.

The venue is also available to hire for private events including but not limited to film screenings, product/PR launches, conferences, award shows, ceremonies and can even be hired out for photoshoots or filming.
