Hire Theatre, Royal Institution Venue (W1S 4BS)

The famous raked amphitheatre where scientists, artists, authors and politicians have come to share their ideas for over 200 years is available for your event.

As part of the building refurbishment in 2008 the Faraday Theatre was renovated to improve the quality of the lighting, audio-visual equipment, seating and flooring. The equipment within the Theatre is regularly maintained and updated by our in-house team, to achieve the best results for your event.

The Faraday Theatre will be familiar to those who watch our annual CHRISTMAS LECTURES® on the BBC. The theatre hire comes with an AV package that includes:

4 microphones (either lapel, headset or handheld) A dedicated technician PA system Projection Comfort monitors Lectern or desk Traffic light system

Additional AV is available to hire and again is provided by the expert in house team.

The theatre is a striking space with bright colours and wonderful projection. It is an intimate, modern and quirky alternative to the usual conference space.
