TouchBase South East is a resource for the whole community. The centre opened in 1994 to support deafblind people. We have recently undergone a refurbishment, the building is wheelchair accessible throughout and has the latest specialist equipment. Everything has been designed to create a social, creative and supportive environment.

TouchBase South East can facilitate and cater for a wide range of business and social activities, and events. Our centre has fully equipped changing suites that meet Changing Places standards. Our hydrotherapy pool is a warm, safe environment where you can explore and relax in comfort. The centre’s multi-sensory room offers a stimulating sensory experience where you have control of a range of lighting, music and interactive features. Café 55 is our community café, open to the public at specific times (please call to enquire).

TouchBase South East can provide a range of additional services, including catering for meetings, parties and conferences. Wi-Fi is available throughout the centre.

The cafe has sound softening panels, and is fully accessible. It has been recently decorated. It also has an overlooking internal balcony which is great for photo's or as a dj booth. We are more than happy to show you round the facilities prior to booking. The cafel has a tall ceiling at 10 metres so can easily be used for bouncy castles and trampoline parties. It also has plenty of natural light and offers plenty of privacy.
