Hire The Josephine Room, The Jugged Hare (EC1Y 4SA)

Named after the prestige cuvée of Joseph Perrier Champagne and also the name of the famous Champagne-maker’s daughter, Josephine is a stunning private room with exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings and restored Champagne racks. Situated within the famous Grade II listed old Whitbread Brewery, now the Montcalm London City five star hotel, The Jugged Hare is perfect for corporate and private events.

We can hire out the private ‘Josephine Room’ for up to 50 people for a seated dinner or for up to 75 standing for a drinks reception. For smaller drinks gatherings in the pub, why not book one or more of our reclaimed whiskey barrels to prop up against. Perfect for a more relaxed atmosphere with no minimum spend.

A range of menus are available, featuring spit roast meats, seasonal British game, wild fish and shellfish. With a selection of over 100 wines by the bottle and carafe as well as a ‘Wine By The Glass’ dispenser and preservation system, we are delighted to offer a range of tasting packages, from wine quizzes to food and wine matching events, featuring great worldwide producers and varieties.
