Located in the heart of Shoreditch, the Light Bar is a stunning stand alone building that was once an old Victorian power station built back in 1893. With the help of Tracey Emin and other local supporters, the building was saved from potential knock-down in the early 2000s, where it stood empty for 10 years before its renovation in 2020. The spaces inside feature original pieces from the power station, plenty of exposed brickwork and beautiful wooden beams.

We offer 3 event dedicated event spaces, catering for groups of 2 people up to 600 with exclusive full venue hire. Suitable for corporate socials, birthdays, Christmas parties, seated dinners and much more.

The Copper Bar - located on our first floor, this semi-private space offers your own private area but overlooks the buzz of the Engine Hall below. In total it can accommodate 60 - 80 people and comes with its own private bar.

The Timber Loft - located on our top floor, this stunning room is our beautiful airy event space, all windows and skylights! This area can accommodate up to 80 people for a seated dinner and 150 people for a standing event. Included in this space is your own private bar.

The Backyard Terrace - is our beautiful cosy enclosed terrace with a retractable roof for warm sunny days, and heaters for the cooler months. Comfortably furnished with sofas and soft seating, the space accommodates up to 100 standing and is a great hidden gem to get away from the noise of busy Shoreditch high street.
