The Gallery currently contains the latest Whitechapel Gallery annual commission, a work by the acclaimed French-Algerian artist Kader Attia.

Continuum of Repair: The Light of Jacob’s Ladder is an immersive multimedia installation that reflects the original use of the space as a reading room, presenting a fascinating cabinet of curiosities, artefacts and books.
