Venue Search London recently hosted clients at the stunning NoMad London for a glorious breakfast event. From a former courtroom to a subterranean lounge, discover the unique event spaces that make this venue so special...

This month, the Venue Search London Team was delighted to host a small group of clients for breakfast at NoMad London. It was a fabulous way to start the day; we began with a tour of the incredible event spaces, followed by a delicious hot breakfast. We truly enjoy sharing these venues with our corporate clients, as it is the best way for them to experience the beautiful hotel's potential firsthand. Now, we're excited to share more about what makes these event areas so special…

Housed within a former magistrates’ court, the NoMad London in Covent Garden masterfully blends historic grandeur with contemporary design. This storied building, where figures like Oscar Wilde were once tried, now offers a uniquely compelling backdrop for corporate events, providing a narrative depth few venues can match. With 91 individually designed bedrooms, the hotel ensures a luxurious stay for international delegates. Its prime location in the heart of Covent Garden places it within easy reach of major transport links and the city's commercial districts.

The hotel's versatile event spaces are its crowning glory. The stunning, light-filled Twenty-8, set in the former courtroom, can host up to 300 for a reception, 80 seated, making it ideal for unique parties. For more intimate gatherings, the uber-cool Side Hustle Bar accommodates 60 for a reception, apparently, they do the best Spicy Marg in central London! Fielding & De Veil are two conjoining event rooms with their very own entrance, bar and toilets. This is where we hosted out breakfast on one grand table and it was perfect. You can do up to 26 seated for dinner or 30 people cabaret in these rooms.

The showstopper-event space is The Magistrates’ Ballroom. It is the building’s original Magistrates’ Courtroom that has been reimagined as a stunning room, surrounded by an evocative mural by painter Claire Basler. The space is perfect for banquets up to 65 people or standing reception parties for 120 with the adjoining bar.

The art continues in the intimate, subterranean cocktail lounge called Common Decency. The space is lined with luxurious velvet, with many private areas for smaller tables. The lounge can hold 150 for a reception or better yet, dance party. This range of capacities ensures flawless execution for everything from a sophisticated board dinner to a unique & luxurious Christmas party.
