The Venue Search London team were offered a sneak "work in progress" preview of London's most exciting new venue opening in 2019. Hard hats, high vis jackets and steel-capped boots were the fashion choice as we were shown around this huge new space by the venue and site managers.
Magazine is one of London’s newest event space, offering a striking blank canvas venue as a fantastic conference venue option in central London which require big builds. Located in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula with amazing views of Canary Wharf, the custom-built building is the largest of its kind in the city with around 3,205 square metres of versatile indoor space for up to 3,000 people and can accommodate a further 7,000 people across the venue’s vast outdoor grounds. The venue embraces simplistic architecture, offering clean and functional spaces that provide a means for large scale conferences and events.
Magazine London is deeming very popular and has already been booked for awards dinners, product launches, Christmas parties and brand activations and having seen the venue at first hand, we can see why!
The huge windows (which can be fully branded) in the full height reception space offer stunning views of the Canary Wharf skyline, with the upstairs balcony offering a superb vista of the river and the outside Showground areas that can be hired for larger scale festivals and outdoor events.
In addition to the vast Main hall which can seat 1,300 guests for dinners and nearly 2,000 theatre style, the venue also has two spacious and useful mezzanine areas that are ideal for secondary conference space or VIP areas.The versatile venue can be used for brand events, gala dinners, large conferences, exhibitions and even fashion shows.
Not only is the riverside setting a real attraction, but accessibility is surprisingly good with the venue just a few paces from North Greenwich Station and just a short hop from Central London on the Jubilee Line. There is also a unique riverboat service close by for those wanting to arrive in more style.
