1. Porchester Hall

This large, historical London venue invites you to celebrate Burns Night within the walls of it’s grand hall in January 2020. Located just a short walk from Paddington Station, Porchester Hall is renowned for being one of London’s most beautiful dance halls. Enjoy three hours of dancing to a wonderful live band and enjoy traditional haggis, neeps and tatties buffet style as well as listening to bagpipes and reciting some traditional Burns poetry.

Entering the 1929 art deco Grade II listed building, you are greeted with the elegant staircase and striking marble walls. From here, guests are led through to the Main Hall, which is the very essence of grandeur with oak and walnut panelled walls, luxurious curtains and crystal chandeliers. The main hall at Porchester Hall can hold up to 630 guests for a standing reception making it a perfect venue for Christmas and Summer parties and for seated lunches and dinners, this venue can hold up to 450 guests.

If you’re looking for a venue to hold a conference, Porchester Hall can hold up to 630 delegates in theatre style and 360 in cabaret style making it a great choice for conferences on a larger scale.

2. South Place Hotel

Visit this modern, City based hotel for your Burns Night celebrations in 2020 where you can enjoy an exclusive menu in ode to Robert Burns on the most famous night in the Scottish calendar.  Hosted in the South Place Chop House, enjoy haggis, Harviestoun beer and all the Scottish classics to ensure a night full of fun.

This cool and contemporary hotel located a short walk from Liverpool Street is perfect for evening receptions, dinners, product launches and more. South Place Hotel have numerous spaces available for private hire whether it be for a meeting or a party.

Their Purdey & Steed room can seat 50 guests in theatre-style, 50 for a seated dinner and 80 guests for a cocktail reception. The rooms can also interconnect to provide a versatile space for entertaining up to 100 for dinner or 200 for a standing reception.
