Wanting a little more space this Christmas? This year, we know people are going to want a little more room to manoeuvre at their events, and especially for Christmas. So, we've put together a list with some of London's largest Christmas party venues, giving you and your guests the space to party.
The Brewery
The Brewery is a great venue for large groups of guests looking to celebrate Christmas the best way possible. Located in the heart of the City of London, a short walk from Liverpool Street station, it is one of the most accessible venues for guests to travel to.
Their largest event space, Porter Tun, can hold up to 1000 for a standing indoor reception and up to 700 for a seated dinner. Each year The Brewery announce their latest Christmas theme which takes over the entire venue including the risqué, intriguing and, most importantly, unique. This year’s theme is none other than ‘Enchantment under the Ocean’ - a throwback to the 1950’s American High School Prom – think ‘Grease’ under the sea!
Their cast of specialist entertainers engage your guests right through from the arrival drinks to the last dance, ensuring everyone is involved in the fun. Every Christmas party at The Brewery includes a DJ or in the Porter Tun, your guests can enjoy a live band.

Evolution London
Evolution is a no-brainer for those wanting plenty of space. With a capacity to hold up to 4,000 for a standing reception and 2,000 for dinner, Evolution is one of the best for those big Christmas parties or those looking to have some more room.
The now permanent structure is situated in the stunning Battersea Park and only two miles from Westminster, making it very accessible to travel to. The venue has over 5000sqm of versatile event space with an 8m ceiling height and 700 sqm mezzanine level, perfect for arrival drinks, a VIP reception or after-party (if one is even needed at this all-inclusive venue!).
With themes including Après Ski, Carnivale and Christmas in New York, get set to be wowed by the extent of their production and entertainment.
Magazine London
One of London’s newest and most contemporary large London venues, Magazine offers unbroken views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline. This large London venue, perfect for big parties, can hold up to 3,000 people and can extend to accommodate a further 7,000 people across the venue’s extensive outdoor showground.
Both Mezzanines in the venue are accessible via two black steel staircases in Space 1 and can be utilised as VIP areas or as overflow for higher guest numbers. Mezzanine 2 overlooks both spaces and provides access to The Balcony, an intimate area featuring stained timber decking and black steel railings.
This large venue adopts a blank canvas, warehouse style which helps it be a perfect event space for a range of genres and themes.
Exhibition London
Exhibition London is a new multi-purpose music and events venue located close by to Westfield Shepherd’s Bush (wth great virtual tours available FYI).
The Victorian structure was first built in 1899 and was originally used as an engine house for Central London Railways. Some of the most iconic TFL aesthetics remain, with stunning tiled interior walls and red brick details, Exhibition London adopts a unique and vibrant character.
The venue spans across two floors; the Ground floor comprising the entrance foyer, reception space and four additional rooms. The main event space is situated on the first floor with 775 sq metres of uninterrupted floor space and a flexible stage for the party entertainment.
Their ground floor can hold 750 guests for a standing reception and 320 for a seated dinner with the first-floor space a great choice for large Christmas party venues for 1,500 standing guests and a further 750 for a seated dinner. For Christmas, the venue will be catered for exclusively by Create with all-inclusive packages set and ready to go. While no theme is installed within the venue, the architecture and stunning lighting installs ensure a wow factor for your guests.
Tobacco Dock
Experience a magical night full of Flapper girls, Gin cocktails, installations and props at Tobacco Dock as part of their Roaring Twenties extravaganza.
Tobacco Dock is a unique large London event venue. The East London location is just a 15-minute tube journey from Bank and 25 minutes from the West End with ample space outside for coach drop offs should you want to start the party from the office! The venue was built in 1812 as a hub for cargo such as wine and of course tobacco, it originally covered 70 acres. The Grade 1 listed building now offers 57 event spaces over 16,000 sqm.
When hiring the party venue all packages include a host of live performances and acts, a live band and resident DJ to really get the party started.
Their largest space can host up to 1000 guests seated and 2000 standing. Then there is North Dock which can host up to 300 seated and 1000 standing and finally East Mall which has a capacity of 400 seated and 800 standing, giving your part endless opportunities for a party with a little more space to relax.
