After a busy week at this year's London Christmas Party Show at Haberdasher's Hall, presenting our 'Top New Venues & Festive Favourites' seminar over two days, we wanted to share a summary of these exciting prospects for the year to come...
The London Christmas Party Show is a great opportunity every year for us to reconnect with some of our top venues and creative event suppliers, along with sampling some delicious food, drinks and festive tunes! Hosted by our sister company, Story Events, it's a staple in our calendar every year.
Venue Search London have the privilege of hosting our popular Top New Venues seminar across the two-day event each year, and this year we added some festive London Christmas party venue favourites to make it even more topical.
If you missed out, or just need a reminder, we've summarised our top picks below!
The Wagtail
Located at Monument in the City of London, this venue opened in May this year. A fabulous new addition to the ETM Group, The Wagtail is a glorious bar, dining and event space, accommodating up to 120 for a standing reception or 60 for a seated dinner.
Coming to you from the same group that brought us The Botanist and The Aviary, The Wagtail is set to become one of the City's most popular spaces, with two glorious terraces for smaller parties, or one large wrap around terrace for bigger numbers. Their unique dome offers a private dining space for those looking for a more intimate and unique dining experience within the capital.
Pitch Soho
Located in the heart of the West End, Pitch have launched their brand new flagship venue in April 2022, joining the original in Bishopsgate, with another new opening due for Canary Wharf later this year.
Set over 2 floors with an 8000 square feet contemporary clubhouse to the lower ground floor housing 9 golf bays and a stunning bar/lounge, Pitch is the ideal venue for an event with a difference. This is a golf experience but very much the modern way to play. Street food, cocktails, and a brand-new par 3 game for everyone mean that a Pitch Soho event offers a unique option to suit all tastes. With the option to close off smaller private areas as well as hire the entire venue on an exclusive basis there are booking rates available for groups of 4 up to 120. Presentations and conferencing can be arranged with prior notice with event durations bookable from one hour up to a full day.
Mamma Mia! The Party
Located at The O2 in Greenwich, this new pop up has already proved a popular attraction. Available for exclusive hire up to 504 people, your guests can take over 'Niko's Greek Taverna' and be immersed in the life and soul party atmosphere of an Abba disco on the fictional island of Skopelos. Guests will be treated to a four course seated meal with plenty of drinks and more than enough entertainment to keep you singing and dancing into the wee hours of the morning. A truly unique party venue for your next Christmas party!
Mr Fogg's Apothecary
Another addition to the West End, Mr Fogg's from Inception group have opened a brand new space on Brook Street, just opposite Claridge's. Launched in June, this elegant Victorian Style basement bar is stocked with an extensive apothecary collection. Perfect for all manner of occasions, guests follow a majestic grand staircase leading down to The Apothecary Room, featuring an impressive long bar, stocked to the rafters with an extensive apothecary collection. Adjoining the main space lies The Elixir Room. This secluded space is separated by a wall of wooden apothecary cabinets – giving guests the option of creating one large space, or keeping it closed off with secret access via an unassuming built-in door. You can take full venue hire for up to 200 guests or use the smaller Elixir space for up to 50.
Tattu London
Located on Tottenham Court Road as part of the eagerly anticipated NOW Building development, Tattu London will bring a high-end Chinese dining experience to the rooftops of London. Available to hire for up to 200 guests standing or 150 seated, this is a premium dining experience to rival the likes of Hakkasan and Aqua. The beautiful decor is worthy of any instagram account with plenty of mood lighting, stunning oriental design and an extensive cocktail list. The venue will also bring a welcome new roof terrace to the West End, perfect for the last of the summer months.
Oche The Strand
Opening in the heart of the West End, just a few weeks ago, Oche The Strand is set to be the next big thing on London's 'gastro-gaming' scene. A stylish and high end bar offering competitive virtual dart technology, an extensive cocktail list curated by a number of talented mixologists' and a sharing menu to die for, this new space is likely to rival some other favourites, such as Swingers, Flight Club and Clays. Available for hire exclusively for up to 350 guests standing, Oche is set to be a hot new destination for Christmas parties.
INCA London
One of London's most exciting dinner and show experiences, INCA London has opened just off Oxford Street. This spectacular South American and Latin inspired restaurant offers a unique dining experience with all the incredible live entertainment you could want, from Samba dancers to DJ's creating a high energy atmosphere. INCA focuses on delivering exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for all guests. You can hire the venue exclusively for up to 250 standing or 145 seated.
Q Shoreditch
A favourite of the East end, formerly known as McQueen's Shoreditch, the venue has re-launched as Q. The new venue offers guests a choice of American pool, English Pool and various ‘Vegas style’ tables such as Roulette, Blackjack and Poker, with each table managed by its own professional croupier. Q is the hottest new addition to Shoreditch’s vibrant activity-based bar scene. Set over two floors, Q offers three distinct and immersive private rooms, each with its own private cloakroom and entrance, accommodating guest numbers up to 600 site wide, 220 in the Q Lounge, 60 in the VIP Room or 280 in the Club.
Kent House: Secret Salon
An iconic venue, located in the heart of Knightsbridge, Kent House is set to host Christmas this year with a fabulous new Secret Salon theme. The venue offer all-inclusive Christmas packages, set to the background of a 1920s Gastby-esque party. For up to 350 standing or 150 seated, guests can hire this exquisite town house for their very own corporate house party. Packages include immersive entertainment from flapper dancers, to a live DJ and plenty of glamour.
Church House (Awesome Events)
Located in Westminster, Church House has been an established venue for many years. This year, for the first time, they are teaming up with Awesome Events, who know the Christmas party industry inside out and have unveiled its Christmas party theme for 2022 to celebrate ‘Disco Through the Decades’. Ideally located in the heart of Westminster guests will enjoy a sparkling reception in the Hoare Memorial Hall or the Bishop Partridge Hall, before making their way to the Assembly Hall for a festive three-course seated meal, or choose a roving bowl food reception. These all inclusive packages will be perfect for a minimum of 250 guests, right up to 588 for a seated dinner dance. 
Fairgame
Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, this brand new venue is set to take East London by storm this year. A large venue accommodating up to 600 guests for an exclusive take over, Fairgame will offer everything you'd expect from a traditional fair ground, with a modern twist! With multiple spaces for hire available for between 40-250 guests, the venue is going ot be a great option for those with small, middle or large capacities to host. Multiple bars will keep guests hydrated, along with some of London's finest street food vendors keeping everyone happy.
Warner Bros Studios
The Warner Bros Studios has been a must see attraction for all die hard Harry Potter fans for a while. But with new spaces opening up regularly, no visit will ever be the same and the venue is a spectacular option to host your Christmas party. With festive decor from November, the venue offer all-inclusive packages with options from standing receptions to seated dinners, tours of the famous sets and all the butter beer you could want! Their newer venues range from the Forbidden Forest to Gringott's Bank, alongside some of their long standing iconic sets, including the Great Hall and Platform 9 & 3/4. You don't have to be a HP fan to enjoy the unbelievable surroundings and sets, and the venue can even organise themed transport to take your guests from the office door to the party.
