New al fresco terraces to book this Spring

Monday 29 March 2021

The Bloomsbury Hotel, Dalloway Terrace The Dorchester, rooftop

As we welcome the return of our much missed bars and restaurants this April we are delighted to share how three of our favourite central London hotel's plan on expanding their outdoor dining experiences.

The Dorchester

The Dorchester will reopen its al fresco dining on April 12 with the launch of its first ever rooftop restaurant and bar and will see the return of The Dorchester Terrace & Garden and the Spring Garden. Reopening in time to celebrate the hotel’s 90th anniversary on April 20, 2021, The Dorchester marks its ninth decade with a celebration of its unrivalled culinary credentials.

For the first time in its nine decade history, The Dorchester will launch a rooftop restaurant and bar: ‘The Dorchester Rooftop’. With views across Hyde Park and East London, it will showcase a series of culinary pop-ups overseen by executive chef Mario Perera and featuring The Dorchester’s talented chefs, celebrating British, French and Mediterranean cuisine.

The Dorchester Rooftop will be open throughout spring and summer to make the most of the longer days and sunsets across Hyde Park. The restaurant and bar will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with a lounge area to relax with a cocktail, glass of Champagne or a cigar whilst listening to a live band and DJ. Tables will be available for up to six guests and in anticipation for the unpredictable British weather, terrace umbrellas, heaters and blankets will be available.

The Bloomsbury Hotel

If you thought Dalloway Terrace was instagrammable you need to check out The brand new Coral Garden at The Bloomsbury Hotel.  Opening from the 12th of April and available for group bookings of up to 20 people.  The Coral Garden is an intimate, sheltered setting providing the ideal space to reconnect with clients or colleagues in Central London.  Complete with a modern gazebo covering and heaters, The Coral Garden is also equipped with a botanical canopy and a cosy fireplace for when the evening draws in.

The Biltmore Mayfair

Relax, socialise and enjoy the best of British produce.  Luxurious yet relaxed with modern interiors and a menu suitable for sharing, The Betterment is the ideal place to socialise with friends, family and colleagues.  Therefore it comes as no surprise that the hotel has made the decision to extend its stunning outdoor terrace this April.

The seasonally-driven menu features beautifully-presented dishes of wood-fired fish and meats, fresh seafood, signature salads and plant-based plates. Proteins are cooked on an open grill, with side dishes forming the flair of the meal, all inspired by flavours from around the world.

Leading on from the restaurant, the covered Terrace with its foliage walls and comfortable seating is an elegant spot for al fresco dining and drinking all year round.
