For a traditional, high-end London dining experience, The Old Masters' is up there with the best. The Rubens at The Palace, the luxurious hotel it's part of, was built in 1912 as a hostel for debutantes coming out at Buckingham Palace down the road. The restaurant itself is set out like a traditional carvery grill with ornate high ceilings, chandeliers, the works. Fresh roasts are on the menu every day.

Starters can include: Stuffed Tomato with Crayfish and Spring Onion, Baby Spinach Leaf and a Balsamic Glaze Rocket, Parma Ham and Melon with a Honey & Mustard Dressing Baby Gem with Parmesan, Avocado and Lemon Mayonnaise Seafood Terrine served with chargrilled Vegetable & Feta Cheese Tîan and Sweet Tomato Dressing Goats Cheese Brule with Baby Leaf Salad and Onion Marmalade Smoked Halibut with Garden Cress, Rye Toast and Lime Dressing Chicken Liver Parfait served with Orchard compote Blue Cheese and Pear Salad Pea and Ham Soup with Ham Hock and Chive Cream

Main Courses: Visit the Carvery where the Chef will carve from a choice of two prime roast joints. Prime Roast Rib of Beef is our speciality and served daily, along with the Chefs choice of a second roast. Alternatively, choose our Vegetarian option or Fish Dish of the day. All main courses are accompanied by a selection of seasonal vegetables, potatoes, sauces and accompaniments.
