Poppy's Pop Ups: Licking, Sipping & Dipping

Monday 23 July 2018

Magnum London Pleasure Store Brockwell Lido dulwich

Looking at the weather forecast for the coming week not only fills me with utter joy but also a little dread. With the thermostat tipping the 32 degree mark, it's important to know where to go in our fair city when that heat becomes a bit to much to handle (which happens to the best of us)...

LICKING (ice cream)
If you have Instagram no doubt you will have seen the pop-up Magnum stores where you can dip and decorate your own ice cream. If you are craving an ice cream fix and at the same time would like to get that perfect Instagram shot then head to the "Magnum London Pleasure Store" (their words not mine) located on Sloane Square where you'll be able to let your creative juices run wild.

DIPPING (swimming)
If the ice cream wasn't enough to keep you cool then head to  "Lido Lates" at Brockwell Lido in Dulwich. With floats, boats and fountains, sip on Summer cocktails and have a boogey to the DJ. Tickets are limited so don't miss out!

SIPPING (drinking)
Right so now you will be full and cool, time to hit the town! Head to  "The Hamptons" a Summer bar pop-up based near Liverpool street. Sit on the grass while sampling an array of summer favourites from prosecco, to pimms to even a good old G & T, who knows where the night will you...

So that's this weeks round-up of the best spots to hit to cope with our current heat wave. keep an eye out for my other pop-up adventures around London coming soon. And remember that if you’re thinking about where to have your party next summer, start your search now by checking out our great range of summer party hire venues and then drop us a line on 0207 870 9305.
